Become a Frenchie Furever Friend Today

As 2024 comes to a close, I am reaching out to you personally. I founded Rocky Mountain French Bulldog Rescue in 2014 and here we are - ten years and almost 600 lives saved later.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to rescue and rehome 48 French Bulldogs this year—dogs who were abandoned, neglected, or at risk of euthanasia. Now, they are thriving in the warm, loving homes they deserve.

As we reflect on a year filled with triumphs, challenges, and—most importantly—lives saved, I am also looking toward the future of the rescue and French bulldogs. The need is greater than ever as French bulldogs remain the #1 most popular dog and yet continue to be the most medically-needy breed.

Every day, we receive more calls about dogs in desperate situations—like April (above). April was dumped at a closed shelter with a necrotic reproductive system after what appeared to have been a forced at-home birth. When we were called to help, our Salt Lake City director literally left her cart in the aisle at Home Depot and rushed to get her into emergency surgery. April’s life was saved - within, according to the surgeon, less than twenty-four hours of death - thanks to donors who help us continue saving lives.

Sadly, due to a $103,000 decrease in funding compared to last year, we’ve had to enact an intake hold and turn away 43 French bulldogs in 2024; French bulldogs who have no other place to go. We are a last chance rescue. We bring in the special medical cases other rescues and shelters cannot handle as well as the owner surrenders when, out of love and compassion, the owner realizes they need help.

We’re not alone in this struggle. Small nonprofits across the country are facing similar hardships, with many being forced to shut down entirely.

But with your help, we can persevere.

Your recurring monthly donation of only $25 WILL save over 100 lives in 2025 and allow us to:

• Provide urgent medical care for dogs with severe health conditions.

• Offer safe foster homes where dogs can heal and prepare for adoption.

• Cover transport, food, and supplies for rescues across the Rocky Mountain region.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all donations are tax-deductible, and every contribution directly supports our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome French Bulldogs because Every French Bulldog Deserves a Furever Home.

Together, we’ve accomplished so much—but there’s still so much more to do. Let’s start 2025 stronger than ever.

Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and unwavering belief in second chances.

With gratitude and hope,

Kelly Christine
